Are you lagging behind in doing any work? Can’t you finish work on time? Or are you lagging behind because of laziness? The normal thing is happening to you. However, success is not obtained from these laziness. Which is why the success rate in the world is less than the failure rate. If you are also a victim of this disease, then there is no need to be afraid, there is a problem, there is a solution.

Author Mel Robbins has solved all such problems in his book ‘5 Second Rule’. She mentions in her book that her husband’s business went into recession when she was over 40 years old. They become indebted to banks, relatives, neighbors. “This is the saddest time of their lives,” he said. She said that at this time her husband would get up at five in the morning to look for work to earn income and at that time she would have to take care of all the debtors who would come to the house.

The writer thought several times during this time, to help her husband. But whenever he thought about it for one reason or another, and most of the time things weren’t done for his laziness. After walking like this for some time, he discovered the 5 second rule. Since then he has reached the pinnacle of life success and his books are still able to change everyone’s life. There was a time when there was not a penny in the writer’s account. And now millions of dollars are playing in his account.

What is the 5 second rule?

In fact, it is a method by which you can control your brain for any task. Our brain always does things that it enjoys doing and shows laziness towards things that are relatively difficult. But if you look closely, the hard work is responsible for success in life. Since the brain does not like to do hard work, it shows apathy towards these tasks and in the language of psychology this matter is called ‘assert control’.

According to the author, you should multiply 5 to 1 as soon as any task comes to mind and you should start doing that task as soon as you say one. An easy method if you use. Then you will notice that no work will be left out of you.

The question that may come to your mind here is why Guna has been mentioned from 5 to 1? Even if you multiply 1 to 5. But if you start counting from the beginning, you know exactly when you can count from 1 to 5, then from 1 to 10 and then to 20!

How should 5 second roll be applied?

1) Start by saying 5,4,3,2,1 the first thing that comes to your mind.

2) Start by saying 5,4,3,2,1 no matter what the task is. The part of our brain that controls all the functions will be reset by this method. After practicing several times, your brain will take it for sure that saying 5,4,3,2,1 will get me into command mode! And once the command goes to the brain properly, it will be very easy to do any task.

3) To apply this method, the author says to start waking up first thing in the morning, give an alarm half an hour before the time you want to wake up. And the alarm market immediately got out of bed saying 5,4,3,2,1. Then make a list of all the work you have to do throughout the day. Now use this method for every job? Whether it is easy or difficult!

If you can do this simple thing, you will realize that your productivity has increased a lot! In a few months your efficiency will increase so much that you will feel that any task is easy for you.
